CNIT Forest

Viparis’ space within the iconic La Defense CNIT building built in 1958, had been closed since 2015 due to the construction of the new Eole station in La Defense.

Viparis decided to use the opportunity to redesign, transform, and redevelop its space. As a result, a whole new site is springing to life: CNIT Forest will open in 2023 in Paris La Defense

To support the reconfigured use of the building, the space has been modified and completely redesigned. Architects Nicolas Adam and François Schuiten are the masterminds behind this new site. They have designed an impressive subterranean digital tree forest. Thanks to the variations in light created by the thousands of LEDs that make up these trees, the spaces are fully customisable. This ensures ʺvisitor experiences” specific to each event. The objective is a cohabitation between nature and contemporary technology, thanks to the use of natural raw materials such as wood.

CNIT Forest lies at the heart of Europe's largest business district. The versatile space can host a range of congresses and corporate events. CNIT Forest offers 20,000 sqm of modular space across 4 levels, including 2 amphitheatres of 740 and 1,175 seats respectively, 24 conference rooms, and 2 multipurpose spaces of 2,186 sqm and 2,859 sqm that can host 2 different events simultaneously. The large hall can accommodate up to 800 people in cocktail mode. The site is 100% fully accessible.
